A pair of cross-bow brooches made of copper alloy, with bows made of thick metal sheet and flat diamond-shaped feet made of thin metal sheet.

The grave was discovered during the archaeological excavations conducted at a biritual cemetery since 1985. A skeleton of a child was found in a niche that had been dug in the side wall of the main burial pit. The child laid on its right side with legs slightly bent at the knees. Two brooches were found at the chest level. In the main burial pit there were two vessels.

The largest number of brooches having similar construction to those found in grave 116 come from areas of modern-day Moldova and Romania.
